SDG 4 : QUALITY EDUCATION



        The quality of education can be meant as the focuses on the whole child in term of aspect social, emotional, mental, physical, and cognitive growth regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, financial background, or region. Quality education places children at the center of their learning and sees them treated with dignity and worth as well as they feel valuable meaning in their life. Thus it is crucial to access good quality education as is a human right that needs to be fulfilled.





       Malaysia has made significant progress in achieving complete literacy and ensuring that school teachers have the necessary credentials. The majority of pupils in Malaysia are proficient at reading at the end of first and second grades. Even though Malaysia has achieved tremendous success in several SDG indicators, such as at Goal Level, Malaysia faces major obstacles in achieving the SDG objective for this goal. It is really concerning when lower secondary students are not mathematically proficient. Furthermore, Literacy skills for Young Adults  Malaysia did an excellent job in ensuring all her children attaining full literacy irrespective of gender. However, Sabah & Labuan should be a matter of concern.




        In my personal point of view, ICT proficiency still need significant improvement for adults and adolescents as What I've observed at the university is that a lot of students lack technological proficiency, particularly when it comes to using Excel and Microsoft Word, because they don't attend workshops to test their knowledge of these programmes, which are crucial for effectively completing assignments. The result is that students who lack technological proficiency will take a long time to finish the assignment since they do not know how to utilise Microsoft Word quickly and efficiently and instead opt for a manual approach.









        Apart from that, there are a several of strategies we can implement to enhance Malaysia's educational system, including the school's promotion of workshops to increase technology skill for free both in city and rural areas. Besides, we can locate young mentors who can impart knowledge by provide tutoring and homework assistance, teach a language or deliver a lesson on the usage of technology. Other than that, we can do some site visit at local school or university and ask what supply they need because sometimes students lack the funds to purchase computers and other technological equipment.



        Lastly, a civilization with knowledge and intelligence may be created through high-quality education, ensuring global prosperity andalso positively impacts our nation's economic growth because there are many intelligence people . Therefore, it cannot be disputed that all parties need to cooperate to raise Malaysia's educational standards. I hope Malaysia eventually stands  as a role model for other nations in terms of the calibre of national education.
